CMOS NOR Gate
Description
In this worksheet, the student will construct a 2-input "mystery gate" using transistor tiles and then simulate the circuit using markers to represent the electons flowing through the wires. After determining the output for each input combination, they will then need to identify which logic gate the circuit implements.
Prerequisites
- Basic familiarity with boolean logic operations, specifically NOT, OR and NOR.
- Basic understanding of n-type and p-type transistors.
